We are trying to collect information about Shiba Inu from all over the world. The website and database are intended for the community of Shiba Inu lovers worldwide, who we hope will help us gather as much information as possible.

Our focus is on Shiba Inu pedigrees, and we would love to also host pedigrees reaching back to the very beginning of Shiba Inu breeding.

Our rules

Please read them before adding a dog.

Duplicate check

Before adding a dog, make sure it isn't already in the database. Write its name as on its official pedigree. For Japanese dogs, the spelling can vary slightly from one country to another because of transliteration.

Complete all the fields

Please fill in every field you can.

Proper capitalization

Write the dog's name like this: Naka Go Akaishisou. Not NAKA GO AKAISHISOU, nor naka go akaishisou.

No photo, no entry

Please don't add pet or family dogs without a photo.

Photo credits

Please credit the photographer of each photo, or include the website link.

Official titles only

Enter only official titles. Please don't add every CAC, CACIB or Best Baby.

Verified health tests

Enter only official health test results, not a vet's estimate.

Parents already in the database

The Sire and Dam fields only accept dogs already in the database. If a parent is missing, add it first, then select it.

Title field usage

Don't write Ch. before the dog's name: use the title field. Titles then appear automatically on pedigrees.
