Lacsar is a small but successful show kennel owned by the mother and daughter partnership of Mairin Jackson & Emer Wright. Based in South Eastern Ireland, we have had dogs all our lives and, between us, we have a keen interest in breeding, showing, handling, judging and stewarding at top level. We have competed regularly at Championship Shows in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe since 2012. Since then, our dogs have amassed well over 800 Green (CAC) Stars between them, along with countless other top awards both at home and abroad.
We are immensely proud of the phenomenal amount of success which we have had in a short period of time, and are extremely grateful to the many judges from around the globe who have appreciated the quality of our dogs over the years, these awards make all of our hard work so worth while.
We are passionate about preserving and protecting the future of our ancient breed. All of our dogs are health tested for genetic conditions which can affect the breed before we consider breeding from them. No expense is spared, from rearing our puppies using only the best quality products, to importing dogs of new bloodlines from all over the globe in order to enhance our breeding programme, everything that we do is done to the highest standard.
